TNT stands for "Ted's New Toy".

 Ted's New Toy

Ted Lowe has recently finished rebuilding his FC Standard Sedan, and as you can see, she’s dynamite! Ted had already been hunting around for a theme to spruce up the old girl when the club unveiled Les Hewitt’s logo for our Nationals in Orange. The presentation certainly lit a fuse under Ted, and within weeks, “Project Orange” was underway.
Less than a year later, the sedan has been completely rebuilt, with all rust removed, a spanking paint-job and a gorgeous interior. The engine has been warmed over, with extractors, twin carbs and a mild cam to give it that period race car style.
The car’s first official club event will be our display at the Royal Easter Show on April 19th, where we’re sure it will turn a few heads.
Well done Ted, it just goes to show what can be done with a grey car. All it needs is a different grille... ☺

1 reverse, 3 forward gearsThe personalised plates really set it offA great job has been done on the interior
